On December 30, 2019, Executive Director Elvira Diaz organized a community conversation between Presidential candidate Cory Booker and members of the Latino community in Northern Nevada.
Cory met with twenty community members at La Panaderia Azteca in Sparks, Nevada. In this intimate setting, voters got a chance to introduce themselves to the candidate, ask him specific questions, and get one-on-one time with him.
Members of the press were present and asked questions of the community members afterwards.
